was wondering how the brush is for dry hair, after a nights sleep my daughters long hair is all knotted underneath, like a rats nest.. I have only seen this brush work on wet hair. any comments …….

I apologize for not seeing this comment sooner. Yes, the Knot Genie does work with dry hair. What you do is lift up the top section and start by brushing the hair underneath. For very knotted hair people find it’s best to work in sections. The great part is that even though you may need to work in sections, the brush doesn’t pull and gently glides through each section.
That being said, some people do like to spray the hair with water a little before starting to brush if the hair is very curly so they don’t get a puffy result. Anyone with very curly hair will get a puffy result when it is brushed dry no matter what kind of brush you’re using.
