LuvMum

LUVmum was created by Tricia Saunders, a stay at home mother of two, living in Toronto, Ontario. Her oldest son, diagnosed with ADHD and Tourette Syndrome, often struggled to find comfort each morning when he got dressed for the day. Uncomfortable socks, clothing tags, itchy seams, uncomfortable waistbands, tight fitting collars and unbearable clothing, were a daily stress for her boy.
Knowing that her son deserved more, Tricia began her quest to find a truly seamless sock … and finally she found them… It amazed her so much to see that these wonderful seamless socks had made such a positive difference in her sons’ life. The morning routine of getting dressed had improved and her son was finally happy to wear his socks. Tricia decided that she wanted to share this gift of comfort with as many Canadian families as possible.
Tricia uses her early experience working as a children’s fashion clothing buyer to help her source sensory friendly clothing and products created with the most sensitive children in mind. Through her own personal experience, Tricia understands the struggles parents of a child with special needs have when trying to finding clothing their child will wear. Today, LUVmum has a wide selection of clothing and products that provide comfort from head to toe! From a comfortable hair brush to seamless socks, Tricia gets excited about finding ways to make getting dressed each day – easy!
While LUVmum’s mission is to provide trusted and reliable comfortable fashion for all children, Tricia’s passion is to empower moms to help their children. Understanding a mother’s powerful need to comfort their children is something Tricia truly understands, and it is her passion to help all moms do just that.
Stress Free Kids

Stress Free Kids® founder Lori Lite has created a line of books and CDs designed to help children, teens, and adults decrease stress, anxiety, and anger. As a parent, Lori spent two hours every single night trying to settle her young son down to sleep. Her daughter developed stress related night terrors and Lori herself became sick from anxiety. In an effort to help her family she created a story for her children that would entertain them while introducing them to research-based relaxation techniques. That moment began a journey that now includes 8 books, 6 CDs, and 2 curriculums. Ms. Lite’s books, CDs, and curriculums are considered a resource for parents, psychologists, therapists, child life specialists, teachers, and yoga instructors. Her Indigo Dreams™ audio book/CD series has been awarded the CNE Award of Excellence. Ms. Lite has been interviewed and written articles for several media outlets, including: Family Circle, NY Times, MSNBC, ABC Radio; CBS News; USA Today; Web MD; Stress Free Living; Mind, Body, and Soul; and Job Club with Tory Johnson. She has also been featured in several publications which include Prevention Magazine, Parent Guide New York, Family Circle, Kiwi Magazine, and Aspiring Woman. Lori is a certified children’s meditation facilitator and Sears’ Manage My Life parenting expert. She gained national attention when she appeared on Shark Tank, an ABC/Mark Burnett production.
Lori has just released Indigo Dreams: Kid’s Relaxation Music and will be releasing Indigo Dreams: Teen Relaxation Music this fall. Check her Stress Free Kids website, Face Book and Twitter for updates.
Her commitment to children has inspired her to donate books to The IAM Foundation and Make a Wish Foundation. Originally from Brooklyn, NY, Lori and her family sent hundreds of books to the children of NY to help them cope with the aftermath of 9/11. Stress Free Kids is currently helping organizations supporting our Military Families, Moms for Justice and dozens of other organization.

Today I Ate A Rainbow

Kia Robertson created the Today I Ate A Rainbow!™ chart to keep track of the produce that her daughter was eating as she found that sometimes when life got really busy she didn’t always live up to her expectations of ensuring she was eating her fruits and veggies! She also wanted her daughter to participate and take responsibility for her food choices in a fun and interactive way.
She knew that if she ate produce from all the main colour groups every day, she would be getting a good variety of vitamins, minerals and phytonutrients. This chart was such a huge help to her with very successful results, she decided to make it available to other parents!
Today I Ate A Rainbow is a great tool for teaching kids with special needs about healthy eating, dealing with picky eating and transitioning to special diets.
